Winter (Or What We Mistake for December)

I’ll be honest with you, this collection of songs was compiled with nothing but mixed emotions and by that I mean I wasn’t able to put my finger on any real understanding of what Winter should feel like. Happy or sad? The undertones of what is otherwise pleasing to look at in nature often strikes differently in the depths of the mind where everything tends to get lost. Although I guess that’s just it for me, using music as an instrument to bridge these contradictions and find a sense of acceptance–which is the only point I find myself able to move forward (into the new year, of course). Maybe unlike the rest, Winter is the only time we’re given the option to choose… and well, I chose for it to be beautiful. Oh, but now you’ve read too far into it. Here’s to stouthearted growth.

If I DL the Young and The Giant song why won’t it open/play in Itunes?

It seems to be working fine for me and some other friends that have downloaded the mix. I could send you the file via (whatever file sharing program you prefer) if not…

Any chance of a repost of this mix? I’m getting a 404 on everything after James Vincent McMorrow
It’s so chilly here in the southern hemisphere this morning, this awesome looking mix is just taunting me!

Have you tried downloading the zip file?

Ha, I had actually tried that twice before posting and again could only extract the first 7 tracks. I figured I better try one more time before making a public idiot of myself, and this morning it actually seems to have worked. Apparently, third time really is a charm
