Manchester Orchestra – Live @ Lollapalooza

Date August 4, 2008

This was the second time seeing Manchester Orchestra at a festival (first time was ACL) and for the second time I only saw half their set.  They played a few new songs which was cool but I still enjoyed the songs from I’m Like A Virgin Losing A Child the best, such as “Now That You’re Home” and “Wolves at Night”.  Andy Hull’s voice sounds much more emotive and scratchier live than on record, which works to the band’s advantage.  This was also the first band I saw at the Citi stage which was easily my favorite of the non-main stages. Follow the jump for more Manchester Orchestra pics.
