Manchester Orchestra – Live @ Austin City Limits

I wasn’t planning on seeing Manchester Orchestra due to some weird scheduling but I decided since Blonde Redhead weren’t doing all that much for me I’d head over to the Austin Ventures stage and check them out. I’m really glad I did, I saw the band tear through some of my favorites from their album like “Wolves At Night” “I can Barely Breathe” and “Golden Ticket” before I left to claim a front spot for LCD Soundsystem.

The explosive outbursts that they inject into their songs hit much harder live and the band looked like they were having a great time. I only wish that they had played a longer set and on a bigger stage. Overall, I’m pretty sure the band made a bunch of new fans at this festival and they bumped up another notch in my book.
